The Armada Arv 116 JJ skis are built for guys who want to explore terrain that hasn’t been groomed or touched yet. The Arv JJ has carved its name into the Armada ski collection, equipped with a poplar ash core that provides pop and energy return suitable for all mountain terrain. Its profile features rocker in the tips for a surfing feeling underfoot whilst camber provides stability, pop and great edge hold for aggressive skiing. These skis feature Smear Tech technology at the tip and tail so you can easily press, butter and slash your way down the mountain

  • Terrain type: Powder

  • AR Freestyle Rocker: This profile is ideal for freestyle skiing featuring camber in the centre of the ski with rocker at the tip and tail. Camber increases the contact length with the snow to improve edge hold and stability whilst packing the ski with pop and power. Rocker at the tips gives you lots of float in deep power and makes it easier to initiate turns

  • Flex: 9 - Nose, 7 - Mid and 10 - Tail. Overall this ski is stiff for increases response and power. Reduced flex in the tip and tail helps to drive power in tight conditions

  • Poplar Ash Core: This core is mainly made up of Poplar which is lightweight and provides pop. Whilst full length high density Ash stringers help to driver power through the ski and increase durability. This combination gives you a lively ski that can handle heavy impacts

  • Smear Tec: A 3D bevelled edge along the sides of the tip and tail reduces the tips swing weight, allowing you to drift and press in any direction

  • S7 Base: This sintered base is built to be faster and more durable than an extruded base. These bases are harder to maintain if you damage then however they will help you fly over flats so you aren't left skating along

  • 2.5 Impact Edge : This edge has been heat treated to increase durability without impacting the weight

  • AR75 Sidewall: Using 75% sidewall and 25% capwall construction you get the benefits of both. Sidewall throughout the main body of the ski increases the durability, so the skis can handle heavy impacts on side hits and landings. Capwall around the tips decrease swing weight and prevent tip bounce
