If you failed to learn an instrument as a child because you were busy playing Crash Bandicoot, this board is an instrument that you can pick up and play as an adult. The K2 Instrument board opens the whole mountain up for you to explore, equipped with a directional camber profile you get the benefits of camber for powerful piste boarding and rocker in the nose for float over powder. This Instrument is easy to control and manoeuvre thanks to volume shift and a longer radius in the tips of the board.

When you play the Instrument you will be top of the class on the mountain thanks to a super-fast sintered base, a sustainable Bambooyah core and responsive carbon torque forks in the tips.

  • Volume Shift
7/10 Flex: Medium to stiff flex is responsive and less forgiving, its ideal for intermediate boarders who are taking on more challenging terrain

Directional Shape: The directional shape is designed to give you maximum performance when the nose is pointed downhill. The shape is created with a tapered tail, setback and a directional profile

0.75” Setback: This slight setback naturally shifts your weight towards the tail, helping the tail to sink in powder and adding lift in the nose. The setback means that you don’t have to lean back as drastically, reducing fatigue and increase your comfort

Directional Camber Profile: Camber between the bindings increase pop and power for a lively feeling underfoot. Camber increases the edge contact length with the snow, providing stability and quick edge to edge transitions. Rocker is placed at the nose to increase lift over powder, adding glide to keep you traveling fast through snow. Rocker at the nose helps you to initiate turns with a more catch free experience

Bambooyah Pro Core: This all-new core is high performance, tough and renewable. Made with a blend of three wood species, bamboo and aspen sits underfoot to increase edge response and evenly distribute pressure along the edge. Lightweight paulownia at the tips decreases swing weight, adding both snap and stability

ICG 10 Biax Glass with Carbon: Biax Glass is a standard fiberglass layer used in snowboards to provide durability whilst allow the natural torsional flex of the board. This layer has been enhanced with carbon stringers whilst run the full length of the board, adding pop and power for a lively feeling underfoot

Carbon Torque Fork V shaped carbon stringers stretch from the bindings out to the corners of the nose and tail, adding pop, response and stability

Sintered 4000 Base Sintered bases absorb wax well to provide tones of glide, helping to you board over flat without needing to skate along. This base is highly durable to increase the lifespan of the snowboard

The volume in the nose and tail has been moved toward the centre of the board, resulting in increased control. Do to the volume shift you can ride this board 3 - 5 cm short than usual whilst retaining the same performance and float of a traditional board
