Sir Francis Bacon is an all mountain ski that is built to perform in the backcountry. Its softer flex combines with 3D convex tech allows it to easily butter and float in powder. With a symmetrical flex and twin tips, you have creative freedom for freestyle. This ski is geared towards intermediate to advanced skiers.

Directional ski with tapered tips: This directional ski features a 20mm setback from the centre. The tapered tip and tail make it easier to initiate turns whilst skiing forward and switch, plus the tapering prevents your skiing getting hooked up on powder.

Surfy – medium symmetrical flex: This softer flex in the ski gives it a loser and more playful feel underfoot. The flex in the tip and tail is equal to give you constant performance in both directions.

Profile: 6 – 4 – 6mm. This profile uses camber in the centre to add pop and performance. Camber extends the edge contact with the snow improving the stability and edge hold. Easy rise rocker in both the tip and tail give this ski plenty of float in powder and provides a more catch free experience when initiating turns.

Partly Cloudy core: This core uses a mixture of Paulownia and maple, this creates a core that is lightweight, responsive and durable.

Full sidewall: Sidewalls increase the durability of the ski by protecting the core and edges. This full-strength sidewall absorbs vibrations to give you a smoother and more stable ski.

Fatty 1.7 bases: This 30% thicker base increases the skis durability and lifespan of the skis.

Convex base: This contouring technique across the tip and tail creates a looser feel and encourages the tip and tail to plane.

Fatty 2.5 x 2.2 edge: These edges are 30% thicker than standard edges creating a more durable ski that can handle more impact.

5 cut sidecut: This sidecut is made up of 5 different radiuses providing the ski with a wider range of turn shapes.

Thin tip: This thinning technique is used on the tip and tail to reduce the overall weight and swing weight, making the ski more manoeuvrable and reducing tip bounce.
