I have the TM-2 Stevens 2018/19 and the boots look and feel awesome. Upgraded from 2017/18 Northwave Legend SL. The shells are covered in a hexagonal texture to prevent cuts and wear and gives an attractive look. Liners are firm, covered in a plush velvet texture that hold the foot fimly and allows the foot to slide smoothly in or out of the boot. ThirtyTwo uses 5mm foam rings slotted into the ankle section of the liner to create a snug fit and reduce heal lift. The liner is a thermoformable liner, with a simple foam insole. The insole is simple, slightly contoured and well padded, maybe suited to people with lower arches, but shouldnt be uncomfortable for those with higher ones. The removable liner has a shin-strap and locks internally via an internal lacing system built into the boot shell, which works smoothly to create great integration between liner and shell. Articulation of the shell allows the ankle to flex forward and flex progression is linear and controlled. The boot is responsive, giving great toe to heal edge transition and feel. Toe box is quite low volume over the arch of the foot, comfortable but could be a poor fit for higher arches. Binding intergration with Burton and Union was comparable, toe straps with either Union and the more fussy Burton worked equally well. Sole is much improved chunky dimond pattern with rubber sections for improved grip. In Nike/Adidas - I'm a 7UK or 41EU size. In the TM-2 I needed to go up 2 full sizes to UK9.
