The new Blaze series was built for freeriders who are looking for power in their skis with the control of an all-mountain ski. The Blaze provides performance yet feels both agile and playful. The Blaze 94 is highly versatile and will performance on a wide range of conditions, so your options a limitless on the mountain from icy glaciers to slushy spring snow. The addition of a titanal platform under the bindings helps to drive power through the skis whilst helping you quickly transition from edge to edge; this rapid response of the Blaze is ideal for taking on rough and narrow terrain.

The secret of the performance comes from the 3D radius sidecut, designed to create short, fast turns whilst the three different radii combined with a tip-to-tail hybrid multi-layer helps the ski adapt to any riding style. Adding a suspension tip to the tips acts like a bumper, ideal for taking on wind-blown and tracked conditions whilst adding float.

Features:
  • Terrain Type: Freeride
  • Skier ability: Advanced - professional
  • Profile: Tip and tail rocker
  • Rocker in the tip and tail of the skis provides float over power whilst helping you to initiate turns. Flat underfoot these skis feel stable and provide improved edge control for better manoeuvrability
  • Shape: Directional
  • This shape skis is designed to give your the best performance when traveling downhill with the tips pointed forward
  • Construction:
  • Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore: Light and very stable poplar and beech woods, individually weighed and selected by weight before gluing, are used in this wood core. In the tip-to-tail construction, the wood extends to the tip of the blade and end, giving them the sophisticated combination of good stability and low weight. In the center of the core, a CNC-milled Isocore area contributes to optimal liveliness and dynamic development. All in all, this design allows the stability of the ski to meet the high demands of a freeride ski, and this at a weight that is only slightly higher than that of a touring ski
  • Titanal Binding Platform: A thin Titanal layer (0,3 mm) under the binding delivers the necessary strength to the ski. This way the binding screws offer reliable hold even in the toughest conditions
  • Suspension Tips and Tails: Inserts made of elastic TPU material on the edges of the tip and tail which act like a bumper in wind-blown or tracked snow. Its shock-absorbing elasticity ensures better stability and catch-free float
  • 3D Radius Sidecut: This sidecut features three radii in one sidecut, a tight centre radius to initiate short turns effortlessly and create smooth yet agile turns. An open radii at the tip and tail to create big turns at high speeds, whilst remaining easy to steer and maneuverer. This combination gives you a highly versatile ski to suit a range of terrain and turns
  • P-Tex 2100 Base: This base absorbs wax deep into its pores creating a super-fast ski that help to ride over long flats and sticky spring snow. The base is tough to increase the lifespan of the ski
